Glovia On Demand Extended MRP Application Suite :: Manufacturing
Detail Capacity Planning (DCP) Software
Provides visibility of the shop load, based on schedules generated by other Glovia On Demand applications. This enables production planners and managers to schedule manufacturing orders with the resources required to meet customer demand, and also to modify production plans if needed, based on plant capacity, priorities, and available resources. Functionality includes Repetitive Scheduling, Forward and/or Backward Scheduling and more, utilizing either Infinite or Finite Capacity Planning parameters.
Electronic Kanban (eKanban) Software
Helps manufacturers automate the flow of material using Kanban-based "pull" techniques, which form the foundation of today's Just-in-Time (JIT) and Lean Manufacturing philosophy. The business performance and operational benefits of Kanban processing include increased production control, fast response to changes in demand, and the avoidance of costly overproduction.
Inventory Software
Is an enterprise-wide inventory planning and control system that provides integrated, interactive management of all inventories, including physical stock room, in-transit, consigned and more. It provides accurate tracking for dynamic stock status and visibility within warehouses or factories, in any location. Its deep functionality enables material control, inventory reservation and allocation, picking sequence, material movement, and more.
Master Production Scheduling (MPS) Software
Allows the management team to better balance and integrate the needs of the marketing, manufacturing and finance organizations with customer needs. This powerful MPS toolset includes a Planner's Workbench, "What-if" Simulation capabilities, Scheduling Cycle tools, Performance Measurement, and instant Available-to-Promise (ATP) information to help translate the business plan into a dynamic, customer-responsive manufacturing schedule.
Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) Software
Provides a powerful and flexible planning tool to ensure that the right materials are available at the right place at the right time. This typically improves productivity and customer service, while reducing the material inventory investment. MRP is integrated with live inventories, work orders, projects, and sales and purchase orders, so the latest information is always at hand. It also works with Glovia On Demand's Engineering to provide instant access to BOMs, routings and item planning policies.
Physical Inventory Software
Helps to minimize disruption to business operations by streamlining and automating the physical count process. It allows users to access accurate, up-to-date inventory data to help avoid costly errors in material planning and eliminate the need for time-consuming annual physical inventory checks. The closed-loop process offers a full set of capabilities for physical inventory variance reconciliation, results and impact reporting, and perpetual inventory updates for single site or multi-site locations.
Repetitive Manufacturing Software
Can help optimize high-volume or continuous-flow production with flexible, rate-based scheduling, without the use of cumbersome work orders. It takes into account fluctuations in production schedules and capacity and changing demand patterns, and streamlines the entire process with less paperwork. The result is a gain in performance visibility and easier adoption of Just-in-Time and "pull" manufacturing techniques and customer demand for mass customization.
Shop Floor Control Software
Provides a set of easy-to-use tools that empower shop floor personnel to monitor and control the entire spectrum of shop floor activities and to focus on the highest priority jobs. These integrated controls help ensure maximum shop floor productivity by enabling closed-loop feedback on daily production and master scheduling, total visibility of work-in-process and individual work center activities, and on-screen allocation of the labor, materials and resources required to ensure smooth, coordinated production flow.
Work Orders Software
Comprise a comprehensive cost and scheduling system that helps drive discrete manufacturing processes, from opening work orders and handling work-in-process (WIP) transactions through coordinating and evolving production lines. Its deep functionality includes: flexible structure to handle both discrete and repetitive manufacturing; robust outside processing capabilities; multiple costing methods; and integration for providing Bills of Material and Routings.
